Q4 2023 Performance Analysis of Top Theme Park Apps in France

As the year 2023 wrapped up, the performance of theme park applications in France showed varied trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users. Here's a snapshot of the top 5 theme parks apps, based on data sourced from Sensor Tower.

Starting with Disneyland® Paris, the app saw a steady climb in revenue from early October, peaking at roughly $85K in late October, before fluctuating and ending the year on a high at around $63K. Downloads followed a similar pattern with an end-of-year spike, reaching approximately 35K in the last week of December. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, culminating at around 64K active users during the festive season.

Moving on to Futuroscope, although the app generated no revenue, downloads saw an impressive jump to approximately 18K by the year's end. The number of weekly active users followed suit, with an increase to over 15K in the same period, indicating a growing interest in the app towards the holiday season.

Europa-Park & Rulantica also displayed a notable growth in downloads, peaking at nearly 10K in late December. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, with user engagement rising to over 10K active users in the final week of the quarter.

The Port Aventura app experienced its highest downloads in late October at nearly 6K, although the numbers saw a decline thereafter.
